School Closure Notice
We want to thank you for choosing to enroll your child(ren) with PVS for the 22-23 school year. On behalf of our board, leadership, and staff, it has been an honor and a privilege to serve our students, families, and community.
Unfortunately, with our low enrollment numbers, compounded by our financial and operational constraints, the PVS Board determined that the responsible choice is to close the school. PVS will remain operational through the end of the 22-23 school year and you can rest assured that your child(ren) will continue to receive quality education through the very last day of school (May 18th, 2023).
We plan to work in partnership with our authorizer (West End Public Schools) to facilitate the closure of PVS and to assist with the transition of your child(ren) to a new school for the 23-24 school year.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you have regarding this information.
Sincerely,
Heather Gunn, EdD
Executive Director, PVSS
